John Barnicoat (MA ARCA 1924-2013) left over 400 works of art.
His work encompasses: oils on canvas and panel, temperas on paper, works on paper in pen and ink, conté and acrylic. In addition he left many sketch books and drawings made early on in his life when he lived in Cornwall as a boy and throughout his life.
This website shows examples of his art from each period of his life. The works were mostly done in different decades and fall into a kind of ‘series’ from 1948 – 2005.
